Refusal of Unauthorized Email Collection

We prohibit the unauthorized collection of email addresses posted on this website through email harvesting programs or other technical devices. Please be advised that violations may be subject to criminal penalties under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

[Posted on September 22, 2003] Any person who unlawfully collects, sells, distributes, or uses email addresses by means of technical devices may be subject to a fine of up to KRW 10 million pursuant to Article 50-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

If you have suffered damage from the unauthorized collection of email addresses using such technical devices, please report it through the Illegal Spam Response Center hotline (☎1336) or the reporting page at www.spamcop.or.kr.

Article 50-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses, etc.)
① No person shall collect email addresses using an automated email collection program or other technical device from a website that clearly states its refusal to allow the collection of email addresses.
② No person shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of Paragraph 1.
③ No person shall knowingly use email addresses, the collection, sale, or distribution of which is prohibited under Paragraphs 1 and 2, for the transmission of information.
